Ted Nugent - Stranglehold

Back

Stranglehold is an eight minute plus guitar attack with a healthy dose of a Gibson Byrdland guitar, and a famous guitar solo that was recorded in one take. Stranglehold is the first track off Ted Nugents 1975 self titled album, an album that would set the stage for his solo career subsequent to the Amboy Dukes. Gonzo once said "If anyone wanted to know what rock 'n roll was all about, that's the only album they'd need." 1:Stranglehold, 2:Stormtroopin, 3:Hey Baby, 4:Just What the Doctor Ordered, 5:Snakeskin Cowboys, 6:Motor City Madhouse, 7:Where Have You Been All My Life, 8:You Make Me Feel Right at Home, 9:Queen of the Forest. I took these photos in 1998 at a concert in the Motor City Madman's home state of Michigan. The beautiful blond joining Terrible Ted is Karen Newman. They performed a tribute to the Red Wings for winning the Stanley Cup. Karen sang backup for Bob Seger and Kid Rock, sings the National Anthem at the Wings home games and has a few delicious CD's out. The other beautiful blond is Uncle Ted's wife Shemane. You should add this video to your favorites because it will spruce up your youtube homepage. I hope you enjoy your visit and dig the show. The Whackmaster put's on a great concert and has been the most interesting performer I have had the luck to photograph.
